The Festival of Food, Music and Beer 2025: A Cornish festival of fun

Our inaugural festival of food, music and beer back in July of 2024 was a real treat, with a heady combination of superb food, incredible music, a tip top weekend of Cornish sunshine and a solid line-up of craft beer. Best of all, you all came to the brewery and bought proper good time vibes.

We are doing it all over again in 2025.

We've created a poster and hung our hats on the dates, next we will start to book in food and music.

In case you missed it, this is what the festival is all about and what to expect on 25th-27th July 2025.

Round One.

Last year we decided that we needed a big party in the summer, something that would mean that friends, family and plenty of other folk could come to the brewery and share our passion for good food, good music, good beer and good times. We plotted in a long weekend, running Friday to Sunday with a loose plan to bring in some of our favourite food vendors who'd been serving food at the taproom through out the year and then supplement that with some great local bands.

We lucked out.

On that weekend we were blessed with wall to wall Cornish sunshine, making the brewery the place to be for the weekend - the perfect spot for end of day food and refreshment and a bit of a dance.

Friday eased into action with an array of great food vans arriving and getting et up, whilst we added the finishing touches to the taproom and made sure the beer taps were loaded for the weekend to come. There was plenty of choice for those looking to at, from pizza to began burgers, from curry to tasty fries.

The long-loved and more recently retired Sandy Acre 7 blew the roof off the brewery on Friday night. We were packed and the taproom rocked and moved, with superb dance moves being cut by people of all ages.

Over the Saturday and Sunday we soaked up even more fine weather and enjoyed loads of great music, ate great food and met so many people. It was one of those weekends where the brewery felt like such a perfect place for a community to enjoy themselves. 

By Monday morning we were spent, but in a really good way and already vowed that this should now be annual event.

So here we are, already planning a 2025 rendition.
