Our 4.5% juicy, golden-hued beer born from the wild beauty of the Isles of Scilly and brewed right here in the heart of the brewery. Crafted in collaboration between us here at St Ives Brewery and the Tresco Estate in the Isles of Scilly.
Channel is infused with the essence of Confetti Bush, a fragrant plant native to Tresco, bringing a distinctive botanical twist to the brew. We wanted to capture the spirit of island life - sunshine, salty air, and crystal blue waters.
The Confetti Bush, added during the Whirlpool stage of brewing, imparts subtle notes of spice and citrus, carefully balanced with a dry hop blend of Citra, Simcoe, and Idaho 7. The result is a vibrant medley of stone fruit, tropical aromas, and refreshing bitterness, wrapped in a soft, pillowy mouthfeel thanks to the use of wheat and oats.
