Summer (Hazy Pale Ale) is back

We love it when the sun returns to our home in Cornwall, bringing with it some warmth and the promise of long beach days or coastal exploration. Summer is great.

It also means that we have the return of Summer Hazy Pale Ale, our 4% easy going hazy craft beer inspired by summer in Cornwall. She's the perfect partner after a day in the sun, packing a real punch of fruit flavour, with moreish aromas and that classic hazy appearance.

We've brewed this beer each summer for the last few years, and very much look forward to being able to brew it again each year. This year was no different.

Here's a little more about her:

At the heart of Summer are two amazing hops: Galaxy and Mosaic. Combing these two hops creates a wave of tropical fruit flavours like lemon and banana, with a depth that keeps things interesting. It’s a hazy pale that balances juicy intensity with clean drinkability, making it a genuinely sessionable pale ale.

These hops are added as a dry-hop, meaning they’re introduced later in the brewing process to maximise aroma without adding any extra bitterness. The result is a fragrant, fruit-forward beer that’s bursting with flavours. 
You’ll enjoy hints of banana, coconut, citrus peel, and even fresh berries, aromas that work together to create this Cornish pale ale. 

Settling at 4% ABV means Summer is a truly easy-going beer, which is good news as it's a beer that is easy to enjoy more than one of. It's our go-to beer for a summer evening in the taproom.

Available as part of the craft range, in 440ml cans, you can enjoy Summer Hazy Pale Ale on its own or as part of a mixed case. Currently you'll find her in the 6 and 12 can variations of the hazy mixed cases, sat alongside Slipway IPA and Mean As DDH NZ IPA. It's a heady combination for lovers of hazy beer
