Fun , Festivities & Teamwork: Royal Cornwall Show 2024
The Royal Cornwall Show is a highlight of the Cornish calendar, a grand celebration of agriculture, food, and community spirit that brings together people from all walks of life. This year, we were thrilled to be part of it once again, serving our Cornish craft beer to event attendees and exhibitors alike. The showground was alive with excitement, the air buzzing with laughter, music, and the aroma of delicious local food.
Brewing beer and selling it online can sometimes be a bit lonely. There’s something truly fulfilling about getting out to events like the Royal Cornwall Show or welcoming people to our taproom. It’s a chance to step out from behind the brewery doors, engage with our community, and share our passion for beer and good times. Talking about our craft, hearing stories from our customers, and seeing the enjoyment on their faces—that’s what makes us tick. It’s part of the reason why we do what we do.
Team work makes dream work
But none of this would be possible without a solid team. At St Ives Brewery, we’re incredibly fortunate to have a group of dedicated and passionate individuals who make everything we do possible.
We really do have the best team. From the early hours of the morning and the week leading up to the show, they were at the showground, preparing and building the bar, and installing everything needed to ensure our customers could enjoy a cold pint while soaking up the show. Their dedication and hard work were on full display as they transformed our space into a welcoming space to escape the show and recline into a cold beer.
Throughout the weekend, our team members were all-around splendid human beings. They chatted with visitors, served up pints in the hustle and bustle of a busy beer tent, and made the whole experience seem like effortless fun. Their enthusiasm was infectious, spreading joy and creating an atmosphere that was as inviting as a cold IPA on a hot day!
A Weekend to Remember
The Royal Cornwall Show is not just an event; it’s an experience. For us, it was a weekend filled with memorable moments. From the serving of good craft beer to the laughter of friends new and old, every day was a real celebration of everything that makes Cornwall so special. We were honoured to be a part of it.
Our team didn’t just stop at serving beer. They engaged with visitors, sharing stories about our brand, the inspiration behind the beers, and the love and care that goes into every pint. It was a chance to connect, to show that behind every great beer is a team of passionate individuals committed to their craft.
