Zennor Returns: Our favourite Cornish Stout is back
We love a stout, there's something delightful about how the taste and style lingers, even after you've finished your pint.
Roasted malts stick around a little longer, leaving a warmth and inviting you to pour another.

For us Zennor was always that kind of beer. A dark, velvety oatmeal stout with roots deep in Cornish soil and character shaped by the coast. And now, it's back, available online and in the taproom. Get yours in 440ml cans or perfectly poured at source in the brewery. This is a true Cornish craft beer.
Zennor is more than just the name of this great craft ale, it’s a place, one that is filled with character and intrigue. The village itself sits on the edge of the wild Atlantic coast, wrapped in local folklore, where towering cliffs meet the ever-moving ocean below. The brief for Zennor was to create a beer that reflected this, maybe a little more of a winter beer, but one that was as dark and mysterious as its namesake place. It's a timeless beer, so is a no brainer for re-brewing whenever we can.
In the world of modern craft brewing, trends rise and fall. New styles arrive all the time, and brewers jump on trend with curiosity and passion. But some beer styles, like particular places, really do endure. Stouts have always been that kind of beer. While IPAs and sours might grab the spotlight in the modern craft beer world, a good stout remains a cornerstone: rich, roasted, comforting, and endlessly rewarding. Zennor takes that foundation and softens it with oats, giving it a silky body that’s both soothing and bold.
There’s cocoa in there, and coffee, and just enough dark fruit to make you stop and think.
Rebrewing Zennor wasn’t about looking back. It was about holding onto something that is well worth keeping. It’s a beer for those long evenings and weathered coastlines, for those who want depth, not noise. Whether you’re discovering it for the first time or coming back for more, Zennor offers that rare thing: a stout with a little soul.
Zennor is brewed using Magnum and Phoenix hops, balanced with dark malts, oats and hits with a creamy, chocolatey feel. There's flavours of burnt toffee alongside that chocolate, with aromas of coffee and subtle smoke. She's a beauty at 5.2% ABV in 440ml cans, and one that has a loyal following dues to its moreish nature.
Cheers to stout. Cheers to Cornish stout
