The Art of Brewing: Our St Ives Micro Tap

We are a brewery of place. That place is St Ives.

Whilst we shimmied our main production over to Hayle a few years ago, due to the need for bigger facilities, we still very much call St Ives our home.

Located on the cobbles of Fore Street you'll find The Art of Brewing, our St Ives micro tap and gift shop. Manned by the ever positive team of Neil and Steve, you can be assured both a warm welcome, and a cold Cornish craft beer.

It's our shop front in our hometown, a place where you can pick up a few cans of our beer, merch like glassware and clothing or just stop in and take the weight of your feet with a pint. We love meeting people and sharing our love of craft beer, and this is what the micro tap allows us to do. You can also get plenty of local knowledge for places to visit or eat, or anything else you might want to know about the area. The shop is stocked with plenty of other local products too, from ceramics to photography. We love being able to share the creativity and art that our hometown is renown for.

She's open all year round too, so regardless of when you visit St Ives, you know you can get a pint of the good stuff with us.

The bar isn't quite the same size as the brewery HQ taproom, but with a regular rotation of our beers. This changes on a weekly basis to keep things fresh, with Neil and Steve on hand to guide you through different styles and flavours. Pull up a chair at the window seats and watch the world buzz by on Fore Street, shelter from a shower and venture back out once you are full refreshed. 

The Art of Brewing is located half way down Fore Street, the main street running around the back of St Ives harbour.

Monday- Saturday 10:00-17:00

Sunday 10:30-17:00

If you happen to be in town and we aren't open we'd recommend stopping in The Sloop, The Balcony or even Johns Wine/Bar to sample a pint or even pick up a few take-outs.
